I’m Dharmendra Singh Mehra, I grew up in the Indian mountains, and I started to discover life and the world by travelling and meeting people.
As a child I have always been fascinated by the nature, people and culture. And due to travel instincts, I started working as a mountain guide and started exploring India extensively. As a result, I started discovering myself, got to meet a lot of people from different backgrounds, got to see different kind of landscapes, cultures, history and most importantly I got to taste various kind of food.
Before moving to Switzerland I’ve been working as a mountain guide for over a decade in India and worked with numerous organisations as an adventure and travel consultant. And as part of my personality I always wanted to give something back to the society, so I started to work with school children as a mentor for imparting outdoor skills and bringing them closer to the nature, adventure and to be more sensitive towards the ecology.
Currently I am also running a centre for outdoor education in my hometown known as Camp Twilight Nainital which is located in the middle of the forest and is a centre for Birdwatching, Yoga, Meditation, Adventure and Outdoor Learning.
I like to travel the world and experience the richness of the vast nature, history, cultures and of course trying out different cuisines.
